Struggling with a brain injury, memory loss, or cognitive decline?

Personalized, neuroscience-driven care designed to restore how your brain actually functions.

At BrainStim Centers, we believe your brain is unique, and so should your treatment be. That’s why we use advanced, personalized Brain-Navigated TMS therapy tailored precisely to your brain’s needs — because one size does not fit all. We offer evidence-based care designed around your mind, body, and life — not just a diagnosis.

What is Cognitive Decline?

Cognitive decline refers to changes in memory, focus, processing speed, and problem-solving. It can develop gradually with age or occur after events like traumatic brain injury, chronic stress, or neurological conditions.

Many people experience symptoms like:

Memory lapses

Brain fog or slowed thinking

Difficulty concentrating

Mental fatigue

Early intervention is key. With the right approach, it’s possible to support and even improve cognitive function over time.

Not Just Treating Decline - Optimizing Brain Function

At BrainStim Centers, we don’t just focus on what’s going wrong - we focus on how your brain can function better.
Brain optimization is a neuroscience-based approach to improving memory, focus, processing speed, and mental clarity by targeting the specific neural networks involved in cognitive performance.
Whether you're experiencing cognitive decline, recovering from a brain injury, or simply not functioning at your best, our goal is the same: to help your brain operate more efficiently and effectively.

You’re not alone - and you’re not out of options.

We take a precision-based approach to care — using objective brain data, clinical expertise, and targeted treatment to improve outcomes. This level of individualized, neuroscience-driven care is offered at only a limited number of centers nationwide.

At BrainStim Centers, we help people facing:

  • Cognitive Decline

  • Brain fog, focus issues, or sleep problems

  • Traumatic Brain Injury

  • Chronic Pain & Tinnitus

  • Substance Use Disorder

  • Feeling stuck, disconnected, or flat

  • Anxiety or panic attacks

  • PTSD, ASD, ADHD, & OCD

  • Chronic pain, stress, or burnout

  • Depression (including treatment-resistant depression)

Tried everything and still feeling stuck? TMS could help.

TMS is a non-invasive, FDA-cleared treatment that uses magnetic pulses to stimulate

underactive areas of the brain. It’s especially effective for cognitive decline, memory loss, and traumatic brain injuries .

Your TMS Treatment Options

Standard TMS
Standard TMS delivers magnetic stimulation to a generalized region of the brain using fixed positioning. Treatment is typically administered once daily over several weeks.
While effective for some patients, this approach does not account for individual differences in brain function, connectivity, or injury - which can impact results.

Neuro-Navigated TMS

At BrainStim Centers, TMS is guided by advanced brain mapping, including EEG and imaging data, to identify the specific neural networks involved in memory, focus, and cognition.
Using neuro-navigation, we precisely target the exact regions of your brain that need support — improving accuracy, personalization, and overall effectiveness.

Flexible Treatment Schedules

At BrainStim Centers, we offer both standard and accelerated treatment schedules to meet your needs, timeline, and clinical goals.

Standard Schedule
Treatment is delivered once daily over several weeks, allowing for gradual and consistent improvement in brain function.

Accelerated TMS

Accelerated TMS delivers multiple sessions in a single day, compressing weeks of treatment into a much shorter timeframe.
This option may be beneficial for patients seeking faster results or those with more severe cognitive symptoms, helping stimulate key brain networks more rapidly.

What Happens During Treatment?

TMS works by using magnetic impulses to either inhibit overactive areas of the brain or excite underactive areas of the brain. The energy that is emitted stimulates neurons in the brain and can aid in relieving symptoms related to mood, energy, and cognitive function. Sessions are relatively quick, with many lasting up to about 30 minutes, including set-up and stimulation. Staff will place a tracker on your face, and a coil on your head. You will feel mild to moderate taps on your head that have been described as a "woodpecker" sensation. Our staff aims to be punctual and efficient with your treatment as we know many of our patients have busy lives.

Your journey with BrainStim begins by assessing your brain’s current function and performance through non-invasive tests like MRI, quantitative EEG (qEEG), and psychometric evaluations. These tools help us measure brain activity and identify areas needing support. Depending on your symptoms, our clinical team selects the most relevant tests and carefully analyzes the results to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your unique brain patterns.
